- Adds tools to report installed NECB versions, create Canadian prototype buildings and apply NECB rules to a classified model.
- Defaults to no thermal-bridging calculation, Kiva foundations and City terrain, with explicit arguments to override each.
- Keeps the upstream OpenStudio-MCP tools for saving and validating models.
Limitations
- Independent adaptation, not an NRC or NREL release.
- The author tests it on Linux amd64 under Docker; building the image needs internet access.
- Only Codex configuration is documented.
Install
docker build --platform linux/amd64 -t openstudio-mcp-necb:latest .MCP servers and skills run code on your computer. Review the source before installing.
