What it can do
- Creates, lists and deletes in-memory PyPSA models and exports a summary of their components and parameters.
- Adds buses, generators, loads, lines and storage units with their main electrical and cost parameters.
- Sets snapshots, runs power flow and runs optimisation with a chosen solver and formulation, such as HiGHS with the Kirchhoff formulation.
Limitations
- Models live inside the server session; the README documents no tool for loading an existing NetCDF or CSV network.
- PyPI lists it as Beta (0.2.x), and the repository was last updated in March 2026.
