What it can do
- Sets out command-by-command parity between OpenSees Tcl scripts and OpenSeesPy, with type conversion, canonical command order and numerical comparison.
- Converts GiD models prepared with the gidopensees problem type, reading its .prb, .mat, .cnd and .uni files.
- Covers opstool preprocessing, analysis, data layer and visualisation.
- Includes seismic code skills for ASCE 7-22 and Latin American codes (Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru), each requiring code citations or a VERIFICAR flag.
Limitations
- Written in Spanish, and written to build and maintain the OpenSees Studio application, so some skills (GitHub workflow, UI) are not about modelling.
- The project is pre-alpha.
