What it can do
- Edits .asc schematics, runs LTspice and reads the .net, .log and .raw files it produces.
- Keeps waveform reads within a 2,000-point budget to protect the model's context.
- Returns stable error codes on tool failures and has a documented sandbox.
- A setup script registers the server in Cursor and VS Code under the name ltspice-mcp.
Limitations
- Windows only.
- LTspice offers no GUI command channel, so the server can launch LTspice with a schematic but can't drive the open window.
- GitHub can't classify the licence; MIT is stated in the README.
