What it can do
- Compiles a DSS file or script, then returns bus voltages, line flows, loads, losses and voltage or thermal violations against limits you pass.
- Runs three-phase and single-line-to-ground faults at a bus or swept across buses, and returns positive- and zero-sequence Thevenin impedance.
- Adds PV in steps until a voltage, thermal or convergence limit binds, and runs daily or yearly QSTS with the circuit's load shapes.
- Every tool returns structured JSON or Markdown that includes the inputs, so numbers come from OpenDSS rather than the model.
Limitations
- A single-commit project from September 2026; install is from source only.
- The author notes that results are only as good as the model: a wrong source impedance still converges.
