What it can do
- Opens, creates (from standard templates) and saves CODESYS projects.
- Creates programs, function blocks and functions, sets their declaration and implementation code, and adds properties and methods to function blocks.
- Compiles the project, and exposes the project structure and POU code as MCP resources.
Limitations
- Not maintained since May 2025 (npm 1.1.16).
- Launching through npx can fail inside Claude Desktop; the author recommends calling the installed command directly.
- The @codesys npm scope is the author's own, not CODESYS Group's.
