What it can do
- Runs NeqSim calculations in the server process itself, such as TP, PH and dew or bubble point flashes, hydrate checks, property tables over a temperature or pressure range and full PT phase envelopes.
- Simulates a process (for example separator then compressor) from a JSON definition, and calculates gas and oil quality to the ISO, AGA, GPA and EN standards it supports.
- Groups its tools into three maturity tiers (24 trusted, 32 advanced, 15 experimental) and four deployment profiles that switch tiers off, add an approval gate or make the server advisory only.
- Attaches provenance to every answer, including the equation of state used, convergence status, assumptions and validation warnings.
Limitations
- It works on NeqSim's own thermodynamic and process models; it does not connect to a commercial simulator or to plant control systems.
- The jar path needs Java 21 or later, and on Windows you must pass the UTF-8 flags shown in the docs or the stdio stream can break.
- The HTTP transport has no authentication unless you switch on the enterprise profile and configure OIDC.
