What it can do
- Keeps the Python server's tool names, parameters and payload keys, so prompts written for one work with the other.
- Converts IDF to epJSON with the EnergyPlus command line instead of parsing IDF in Java, and writes edits back through the engine.
- Runs each simulation in its own directory under a bounded pool of concurrent runs.
Limitations
- Streamable HTTP only, with no stdio; the author advises a bearer-token proxy for anything beyond localhost.
- Needs a runnable EnergyPlus 26.2.0 installation and JDK 21 or newer.
- Single-author port with no stars at check.
