Runs AC, unbalanced and DC load flow, N-1, short circuit (IEC 60909, VDE, ANSI, complete), RMS and EMT simulation, modal, harmonic, quasi-dynamic and P-V studies, and restores the study case's command settings afterwards.
Reads relay settings and computes tripping times and coordination curves.
Works in exclusive mode on the real database or in parallel mode on an in-memory copy while the PowerFactory GUI stays open.
The installer builds a local attribute catalogue and searchable API references from your own installation and installs a PowerFactory skill for Claude Code.

The native time-overcurrent plot could not be automated, so curves are redrawn with matplotlib for standard IEC and IEEE characteristics only.
Parallel mode copies the database into RAM (about 2.5 GB for a 6,400-bus model).
Created in October 2026 with no licence file; run_python executes arbitrary code inside PowerFactory.
