What it can do

  • Lists analyses and materials in a .gsz project, solves an analysis and updates material properties such as cohesion, friction angle and hydraulic conductivity.
  • Returns the critical factor of safety and slip surface, and queries seepage results at a point (official backend).
  • Updates the piezometric line from new readings and runs sensitivity sweeps on a property, reporting the factor of safety for each value.
  • Offers a second backend built on PyGeoStudio that edits .gsz files without GeoStudio running.

Limitations

  • Covers SLOPE/W and SEEP/W only, and some tools work with only one backend.
  • The official backend must run under GeoStudio's bundled Python interpreter.
  • The repository also holds the author's research data, and has no licence file.
