What it can do

  • Reads model overviews, switches scenarios and reads or changes parameters such as pipe diameter.
  • Runs simulations headless and returns the .res1d file with a parsed status.
  • Imports an EPA SWMM or EPANET .inp file into a new MIKE+ model.
  • Reads results, ranks flooded nodes, compares baseline and scenario runs, plots hydrographs, networks and profiles, and converts rainfall CSV to .dfs0.

Limitations

  • Running, editing and importing need Windows and a licensed MIKE+ 2026; reading and plotting results work without a licence on any OS.
  • Needs Python 3.11 x64, because mikeplus doesn't support 3.12 here.
  • Experimental, pre-release; checked end to end on one MIKE+ example model.
