What it can do

  • Six domain tools with 58 actions for scenarios, objects, orbits, analysis and conjunction assessment, plus raw Connect command passthrough.
  • Defines orbits from TLE, Keplerian or Cartesian elements and ephemeris files, and builds Walker constellations, coverage regions and comm chains.
  • Computes access windows, AER data, coverage, link budgets, sensor fields of view and lighting.
  • Screens close approaches with CAT and computes collision probability with ACAT.
  • Ships Claude Code skills for constellation, coverage, conjunction, scenario and report work.

Limitations

  • STK must already be running with Connect enabled; Linux and macOS clients use Connect over TCP only.
  • Without the Windows COM extra, propagation defaults to a short window from the TLE epoch, so access and conjunction results can be incomplete.

Install

claude mcp add stk --scope user \
  --env STK_HOST=localhost --env STK_PORT=5001 \
  -- uvx --python 3.11 --from /path/to/stk-mcp stk-mcp
