What it can do

  • Keeps a persistent build123d session so a part can be built in small, checked steps, with snapshots to save and restore.
  • Renders PNG, SVG and DXF previews and 2D drawing previews.
  • Measures volume, area, bounding boxes, topology and centre of mass, and finds holes, bosses and countersinks.
  • Checks printability and fit, imports STEP or STL for comparison, and exports STEP, STL, DXF and SVG.

Limitations

  • HTTP mode is for self-hosted deployments only.
  • Under active development.
