What it can do
- search_api finds a class, interface, method or field in the Javadoc search index.
- get_doc returns a class page as plain text, with exact method signatures and Deprecated tags.
- Reads the Javadoc from a folder on your machine; none of Siemens's documentation is in the repository.
- Comes with token-cost measurements and two tutorial series on the Siemens Simcenter community.
Limitations
- Documentation only; it doesn't run STAR-CCM+ or execute macros.
- Inherited members are listed only under the declaring class; on 2606 the author found 33.6% of API calls in sample macros used methods search_api did not list under the receiver's class.
- Only Claude Code has been tested; needs Node.js 18 or newer.
