What it can do

  • 183 typed tools, one per documented EPLAN action, each run inside a C# script in QuietMode so no dialog blocks an unattended run.
  • A catalogue tool reaches about 1,050 more actions that exist only as GUI buttons, read from the install's MFTools.xml.
  • Four live data-model tools query functions and pages and set function text and connection designations in the open project.
  • Launches, restarts and shuts down EPLAN, clones scratch projects from a template and reads EPLAN's system messages, which supports an unattended add-in build and test loop.
  • Exports and imports Asset Administration Shell (AASX) files; a discovery mode cuts the tool list to 13 for clients that send every schema.

Limitations

  • Needs Allow remote access via Remote Client switched on in EPLAN's settings.
  • Switching EPLAN versions means restarting the server, since the .NET runtime can't change in process.
  • Independent project, not affiliated with EPLAN GmbH & Co. KG.
