What it can do
- Executes CadQuery code and renders shaded PNGs from eight camera angles or a four-view sheet, or SVG line drawings with hidden lines.
- Reports bounding box, volume, surface area, centre of mass and solid, face, edge and vertex counts.
- Extracts the customisable parameters from a script.
- Exports STEP, STL, SVG, DXF, AMF, 3MF, VRML and BREP; assembly STEP files keep names, colours and locations.
Limitations
- PNG rendering needs a working VTK and OpenGL back end; SVG is the fallback where it fails.
- Installed from a clone of cadquery-contrib into a CadQuery environment (conda or mamba suggested).
