What it can do
- Creates, edits and deletes objects and materials in an open Blender scene through a socket add-on, and runs Python the agent writes.
- Returns multi-angle, wireframe, X-ray and camera views or renders so the agent can check its own result.
- Searches and imports Poly Haven, Sketchfab and Poly Pizza assets, and can pull AI-generated meshes from services such as Meshy, Tripo, Hyper3D Rodin and Hunyuan3D.
- A setup command finds installed MCP clients, adds a blender entry to each and installs the add-on.
Limitations
- The author states it is a third-party integration, not made by Blender.
- The execute_blender_code tool can run any Python in Blender; the README says to save your work before using it.
- Sends a minimal anonymous usage record by default (tool name, timing, versions, OS); set DISABLE_TELEMETRY=true to turn it off.
- No IFC or Bonsai tools; geared to general 3D scenes rather than building models.
